So you’ve got this great new website up and running, but you want to be able to make some changes to the content, create some new blog posts—whatever! The first thing that you have to do is log into what is called the “WordPress Dashboard.”
Get to the Login Screen
The “Wordpress Dashboard” is accessible by going to your website’s home page address in your web browser (typically laid out like www.yoursitename.com) and then adding /wp-admin.
When finished, it will look something like this: www.yoursitename.com/wp-admin
Enter your Username & Password
Once you reach the “Wordpress Dashboard” login screen, you will be prompted to enter in your username and password. This information should have been given to your primary site administrator at the completion of the site building project.
If you were not given the login details or you have misplaced them, you may contact a Jon Donley Media representative via the support form at: www.jondonleymedia.com/support and you will be sent the details as quickly as possible.
Go ahead and enter in your username and password, and then click “login.” You should then arrive at the “Wordpress Dashboard” main screen.
